This is to Mr. Markins From the girl on the Captain America mini chopper on the video "Wild Hogs" in Vine Grove ,Ky. I wat to tell you, Thank you for the video you done on us i enjoy going to your site and watching it and showing to people, again thank you and keep on videoing 👍 Robin Howard...
My dad was a young Army officer stationed at Ft Knox in the early to mid 70s and I was aged 2, 3, and 4 during the roughly 3 years we lived there (my parents, baby sister, & I lived on post). At such a young age, the memories are fuzzy, but I do remember going to the Doe Run Inn several times. It was definitely a favorite place to go for both my parents. Don’t really remember specifically what we ate, but that I liked it and always felt a sense of happiness and excitement on the approach and being there. I seem to recall some standing deer statues maybe? I have not been back since the age of 4, as my dad’s military career took us to other locations, but I have had dreams of that place over the years as my mind has tried to paint a clearer picture of what I remember. Sad to discover the place has closed for business. I hope it reopens one day. I’d love to return. Thanks for making this video!
Just got an 08 and gave it some love. Valves, fluids, fork seal and suspension adjustments to my taste. Also came with short exhaust from PO - sounds and behaves like a well mannered beast!. Came with an after market cruise control and I striped it out. I say if you are putting yourself in cruise control on this thing you're getting bored. Throttles are meant to be twisted, specially on this bad girl. 😘
I agree with your comments. I gave a 2010 model. Bought it new. I still have it. Been a great bike. Very dependable fun bike to ride. Only things that had to be replaced have been batteries, tires and TPMS sensors over time. Had to replace the radiator due to impact by an object on the highway. Installed a radiator guard immediately afterward. I'm very pleased with my Concours 14. Will keep it until I physically can't ride it anymore. I'm 64 and eventually might not be strong enough to ride it in the future.
Awesome, hot chicks on hot bikes, lol. The Black widow bike is not a 50cc though it's a least a 110 I know this because I have the same mini chopper. Hey can you get a hold of those ladies again I was wondering if they have any parts?
We used to go out here all the time in high school. I hung out with the weird kids. The ones that thought they were witches. But all we did was like seances and the such.
Have a deposit on a 2021 because I can’t test ride it until April 1st (weird dealer thing) and I’m torturing myself with Connie videos in the mean time. Love how every owner has nothing but good things to say about their bike. Can’t wait to see what it’s about.
How is it compare to the mighty FJR 1300? Have you tested the Yamaha? I’m very interested in both of these bikes and I own a Suzuki GSX 1400 since almost 10 years now. I’m a little short about 5ft9 and I think maybe the GTR is I little to high for me? Great bike to see and hear and I like the looks better then the FJR.
I have a 2016 identical to yours with 62,000 carefree miles. Going to buy a 2022 Concours 14 to replace the 2016. I could buy any of the large displacement sport touring bikes, but for performance and RELIABILITY, nothing compares to the Concours 14.
I’m thinking of buying a well cared for 2010 model GTR 1400 with ABS and KTRC with only 33,000 km on it ( I’m in Australia hence the kilometres and not miles ) . Do you still own this awesome bike ? If so how many miles has it clocked up . Have you ever had any problems with the drive shaft on this bike ? Do the drive shafts ever repairs or need replacing on the Kawasaki Concours 14 ? If so what doe it cost to repair or replace the drive shaft?Cheers 🍻 🍻
I think this guy is about to cream his pants 🤭
I missed the party LOL

Lack of cruise is a huge miss IMO. Not a fan of the linked brakes either. Other than that, yeah, Concours baby!

Dress for the slide. Not the ride. Mine fully stock does 17-18 tops. Which is ok since it’s for my grandchildren.

I think the speedometer was set to kilometers because that didn’t look like 36 mph.
No it was in mph it the camera makes it look like that my mini bike does 40 and it’s stock
Nice exaust man. Thanks for video, looks like I will be looking for a v&h can over here in Scotland 🏴. Cheers.👍👌
My land is right along it and when we harvest at night we carry so many guns. That is the scariest times ever. I love you videos man take it easy.

This property was tied up in a will. My aunt and uncle was the last to try to bring back Doe Run Inn. They paid rent to the heirs.

My riding buddy and I are going to try to go to this place today
Sad that they don't take care of this place. It's like they are forgotten. So very sad

Do you still have her? I'm on the fence about buying one. Do you have a long term video?
Not a lot of things annoy me more than people who love the sound of their own voice
